A little update on the Adam-Man

We got some updated stats yesterday at the Dr.'s office - Adam is at 12 lbs. 9 oz. & 24 1/4 inches tall. That puts him in the 25th percentile across the board, down from the 50th percentile at 2 months.

Why the change?

Well, this kid is shaping up to be just like his sister in at least one way - he is on the move! Did the front-to-back rolling at one month, and last week decided to take things full circle, going back-to-front. Not to mention, he's working so dang hard on his precrawling, you can tell how badly he wants it. And when he's on his back, he's constantly crunching his abs trying to sit up - goes totally red-faced from the effort. It's hilarious!

So, all this work is bound to result in another lean, toned little baby. We'll see if he gets all the way down into the 5th percentile where Emma was for so long. He is a great little eater, so I think he'll stay above that.

Adam is just about a completely perfect baby! He's happy when he's awake, goes to sleep on his own, and is just really content & happy with whatever. If it weren't for his terrible nights... *sigh* Boy cannot seem to stay asleep longer than an hour or two - most of the time, anyway; sometimes he gets in a longer stretch here and there. Even though nights are rough, I am seeing little steps of progress, so I think with a little more time he'll be doing pretty good.

And now he's awake, along with Emma - so I guess I'll have to wrap this up. Speaking of Emma, I know I don't say as much about her lately, but this is one awesome & hilarious little gal. I have an ongoing post draft that I'm always adding to, of the funny things she does. Pretty soon I'll post it & you can all have a good laugh courtesy of the Emminator!
