And it begins... The casting of the Twilight movie kicks off with the announcement of Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan. I've only seen her in Panic Room, in which she was much younger, but even from that I can tell that she definitely has the acting chops to pull off Bella's, shall we say, "complicated" nature. Of course Bella isn't a character that's as crucial for me in terms of casting, so I would've been fine with any number of choices. But I, for one, think this is a pretty great decision - well done, Summit, let's keep it up!
Sidenote: her site mentions that filming will begin in February '08 - WAHOO!

you know.....i'm not gonna lie- i'm not a huge fan. i'm kinda disappointed in their pick actually. but i'm sure the people picking the charactures know a lot more about parts and acting than i do- so we'll let the proffessionals do their job:)
I am shocked that any one who gets to live with Emma would have any other interest than her ..
I love her birthday photos and you are correct she stands like a 3 year old she is soooooooooo grown up I can not wait to see her
