Well since we were lucky enough to be here in Boston to watch the Sox win another World Series, we just couldn't pass up the chance to celebrate in real Boston-style! Just like in 2004, the whole team loaded onto DUCK boats & paraded through the streets of Boston - thus, the "Rollin' Rally." Add the Dropkick Murphys playing live on a flatbed & Papelbon getting his dance on, and you've got a champion-sized party!So, with Colby already downtown for school & the parade going right past his building, all that was left was for Emma & I to trek it downtown on the T, and squeeze into the crowd.
We had a great view of the Ducks & the guys, and of course - the trophy! (It's the glittering item being held up in the air.)
We got a great wave from YOOOOOUK!
And yep, Pedrioa's even cuter in person - look at that boyish little grin! Cutie-Pa-Tootie!
Emma wasn't entirely crazy about being held the entire time, but overall she did very well. And no matter what her mood is, she's still the cutest thing in a 20-mile radius!
More than a few people fawned over her & commented that they were "glad to see we're bringing her up properly." I have to agree - there's no one better to root for than the Sox!
