Easter fun at Nerdomdom

Emma's first real Easter went over pretty well, if I do say so myself! We started the day off by playing with some of her little presents from Grandma Joni:

Bunny towel, a big favorite for streaking down the hallway as it flows behind her

Another great gift from Grandma Joni; how I managed to keep these on her long enough to snag a picture, I have no idea...

Then came the egg hunting! Emma actually did quite well with spotting Grandpa's incredibly well-hid eggs. ;)

She did require slight assistance with a few of them.

You can't really tell since Mommy chose quite a deep basket, but that thing is basically filled up. Way to go, Emmy!

We love Easter! It's such a wonderful time to celebrate the return of spring & all the beauty that brings to the world around us. Of course, spring itself is Mother Nature's way of reminding us annually of the glorious morning that the Savior rose from the tomb as a resurrected being. Every year, I feel the joy of life returning to the world as flowers and plants are born again; and I can only imagine what those close to the Savior must have felt as they realized that He too lived again. I love the Lord Jesus Christ, and know that he lives today as surely as those who stood in his presence that first Easter morn knew it. Happy Easter & Happy Spring!
