What is wrong with me?

(No, that is NOT an invitation to flood me with comments about what my exact shortcomings & flaws are...)
What is wrong with me is this: when I find something recreational that I really enjoy, I have very little success practicing moderation. Exhibit A, of course, is anything Twilight. 'Nuff said.

Exhibit B is most definitely Guitar Hero! After putting Emma down tonight & not finding much on TV to watch (once the AI elimination was done, of course), I decided to play a little GHIII. Just a few songs for fun & relaxation... for approximately 4 hours straight!!!!!!! That's right, I'm just now stopping the madness, at 1:30 am, and forcing myself into bed.

Why do I do these things to myself?! I've had a long day, cleaning the house & cooking dinner so that my poor sick mother would be able to rest in peace, not to mention chasing Emma & cousin Jackson around all afternoon... I need sleep! Not 4 hours of finger-numbing riffs & brain-washing "skull & bones" graphics!

So, I pose again this query:  WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?!?  Answer: So much...

Kristen I have to LOL because I am doing the exact same thing, well almost except Im not playing Guitar Hero, rather I am up, midnight, looking on the computer.
You do it because (well this is why I do it) it is the ONLY time of day where there is time for YOU and just YOU! So there, I think its great other than the occasional Orneriness that follows the next day.
ENJOY IT
