Another year already?!

Okay, this getting older thing is just getting out of hand - I mean, I'm still trying to get used to 25, so 26 was uber-strange... and now, 27 is just plain ridiculous! I certainly don't feel like a 27-year old, but that can be interpreted in both good & bad ways. I guess I'll go with the good one. :D

I had a great birthday this year & received everything on the little list I'd given to Colby to refer people to. Best of all, I pimped my Mac!! I of course got the new hard drive(thanks Mom & Dad!), to add to the new memory I got a while back; a keyboard cover (thanks Dave & Brookie!) so that I can eat freely without filling the innards of the computer with crumbs; and a hot pink snap-on cover (thanks, again, Dave & Brookie!) that'll provide a little protection for when Emma decides that the computer needs some discipline & smacks away. As if I needed reasons to love my computer any more! :D

I also got: a ClearPlay DVD player (I've been wanting this for YEARS now, thanks Larry & Joni!); my favorite "forbidden" movies to now watch edited, Speed, Pretty Woman & Love Actually (thanks Hubby ); Sheer Cover makeup (thanks Amy & Lee); and the COOLEST homemade binder from Susie that has 8 preplanned FHE lesson, complete with little laminated characters/visual aids/etc. I'm so impressed Sooz, WOW & thank you!!

And then with a little extra spending $ from the 'rents, I got some iTunes money, new jeans that I really LOVE instead of the 12 pairs of cheap clearance jeans that I just wear 'cause it's what I have (nothing better than a perfect pair of jeans, right?), preorders of The Host & Breaking Dawn (EEEEE!), and... a new hairdo!

And last Friday night, after Colby finished his last college final that afternoon, we went to Benihana for my birthday dinner. Now my birthday's complete!
