To start with, we had a wonderful Easter holiday - I don't have a ton of pictures, I didn't really do a great job of pulling out the camera. But we had a great weekend of hunting for eggs, eating chocolate, and teaching Emma all about the Savior & resurrection. Now whenever we see a tree growing leaves or a flower blossoming, we talk about the whole world coming back to life, reminding us of Jesus doing the same thing. She's really latched onto it & has spontaneously started talking about it a couple times since. It just melts me!
But we also love Easter for the traditional Easter egg hunt & the little surprises that you find along the way. This year, Emma found these little guys in their very own eggs at the end of her searching:

(for those without kids, those are the Wonder Pets.) This was for sure the highlight of her day - I'm just happy that she now has some Wonder Pets toys to go along with all her "Wonder Pets" singing & talking.
After the hunting, Emma and Daddy had fun playing out on the lawn, rolling down the hill & flying in the air (at least in Emma's case :D). These two sure do get along well!

Getting ready to roll down the hill!

For my weekend of birthday celebrations, I got these gorgeous roses from Dad & my Dad, thank you very much! Emma and I have fun smelling them every day; she loves to try smelling things, but usually gets it backwards & exhales with all her might. lol

And I got a delicious birthday cake, the traditional Norton family Angel Food cake. (Sans Grandma's famous chocolate whip sadly, darn those raw egg whites... but with strawberries & whipped cream, YUM!) I of course got some great help blowing out all those candles. And no, there aren't 28 candles - just as many as the kids wanted to stick in.

On my actual birthday, what else was there to do but go to Benihana!! That's unbreakable tradition right there folks, on any given April 21st I'll be in a Benihana somewhere. Mmmmmm... 5 seconds after I'd cleaned my plate, I was already missing it. :(
And my big birthday present: This! (Thank you SOOOO much, Hubby & Nortons & Harmons!)

Oohhh, I love this thing... I've got a lot to remember from my photography classes years ago, but I've already gotten some precious pics that I'll get posted right after I finish with this one! So, better sign off!

Is there something wrong with eating raw egg whites while you're pregnant? I thought it was just raw yolks that were a problem. Shows how much I know.
Congrats on the camera. Your pictures are awesome. I especially like the ones on the bench. What a difference!
