Colby had his 33rd birthday this weekend, and even though my monetary resources were fairly miniscule, I was able to surprise him with a little mini-vacay for the two of us - made possible by Grandma & Grandpa Norton's babysitting help & Aunt Brooklyn's family condo in Vegas. Again, HUGE & many thanks to you guys, you're exceedingly awesome!!!
We had THE most delicious dinner at Benihana that we've yet had - seriously, this was a different class of Benihana than the one in Salt Lake. I'm still savoring it mentally. Mmmmmm.
Of course we headed right over to the Bellagio Fountains, where it all began for Colby & I. Still never gets old, only better every time we visit.
We also got to take a great swim in the gorgeous pool at the condo (again, thank you Wilsons!); and when we woke up in the morning, it was on OUR time, not the kids'. :D True luxury.
That's about all Colby got from me, and it wasn't NEARLY enough for what he really deserves to get on his birthday. But anyway - Happy Birthday, dear hubby! Love you much.
