Update #1: After dinner, my sister & I took the 4 kids to walk around the Thanksgiving Point gardens, and decided to go in one car. That means moving some car seats around, and with Adam all the way in the back I thought perhaps he'd enjoy the ride better if he were like this:
it's a darn good thing I wasn't driving, 'cause it would've been pretty tough to balance watching at the road & looking backwards to smile at my BIG little man the whole way there. That could be the cutest thing I've ever seen, right there. He'll go backwards again tomorrow - he is still very small, after all - but it was uhhhhh-dorable while it lasted!
* And oh boy was I right - he didn't know where to look first, he was having so much fun!! I'm just glad those bugging eyes didn't actually pop out of his head; I'm not sure I would've know the best way to go about getting them back in. *
Update #2: For the first time ever in her life, Emma is currently in bed, sleeping WITHOUT a bubs. (pacifier) ** EVER ** Yes, there is much bribing involved in this; and yes, there will surely be many varied setbacks along this road. But, for tonight, I feel a great sense of accomplishment, both for her & I. We'll see how the night progresses. :)
