Emma kept trying to splash in the water, but she wouldn't squat down far enough & just ended up flailing her arm around a bunch. Oh well, at least she looked darling in one of her many adorable clearance Old Navy suits.
We ran out of time to walk around the pond, but hopefully we can go back soon with Dad and do some more exploring. Walden Pond, we will return!

such a contrast. emma not wanting to sit in the water and then there is mckinlay--eating handful after handful of sand. sheesh.
