Christmas with the Harmons!

We had such a wonderful Christmas season this year! Of course, Colby flew home & we got to spend time with all our family at one time or another. BTW, we have the best families in the world! Sometimes I forget how much fun we all are. :D

First this year came Christmas Eve at the Harmon's! We spent the whole day watching Christmas shows, frosting cookies, cooking dinner, and then of course eating dinner. :)

Emma found this little Papa Bear that reads the "Night Before Christmas" to his Baby Bear & just started shouting "Daddy! Emma!"
She brought it right over to Colby & he enjoyed the rare Emma-cuddling time while they listened to it over & over.
Would've been such a great picture, if only Colby were a few inches taller... :D

Next up: decorating cookies! We were (of course) amazed with how well Emma did. She'd unscrew a bottle of sprinkles, lightly shake some out on a cookie, then put the lid back on and pick a different cookie. She especially loved placing the little red dots on a cookie, one by one.
Well, that was all fine & good until she discovered - the FROSTING!!Yeah, she liked it. Ate the frosting off about 4 cookies - I actually don't think she ever took a bite of a cookie! Oh well, it's the holidays right?

I didn't really get a lot of usable picture while we were opening presents - Emma already can't focus on looking at the camera, without adding mountains of presents to the equation. hehe So suffice it to say, Emma definitely got the concept of Christmas this year & enjoyed every minute of it!

We slept over at the Harmons & woke up Christmas morning to see if Santa had brought the Care Bears that Emma had so consistently asked for. Luckily, he had. :) Thanks Santa! He brought her some very special Care Bears, too: they sing together! haha They are the funniest things I've seen, I'll put up a video later.
Still a little asleep, it seems...
It was the beginning of a very Care-Bear-Day, that's for sure! Just wait to see what she had in store for her back home - that's coming next!
