comedy hour

Emma's been getting into joke-telling lately. This is the joke she told me today:

E: Ding dong. (her take on "knock knock", apparently)
M: Who's there?
E: Orange.
M: Orange who?
E: Don't cry, it's only a joke!!

Yeah, that one's a hybrid of sorts. Why tell one joke when you can tell three?

This all started on Monday when we were swapping jokes with Grandma Joni. At one point, I tried to tell Emma the "Nacho Cheese" joke, here's how that went down:

M: Okay Emma, I've got a joke for you.
E: Okay, I'm ready!
M: What do you call cheese that isn't yours? (gets ready to deliver awesome punchline, "nacho cheese")

E: Somebody else's!!! lol

Grandma and I were still laughing at that an hour later.
