The other day Emma was having a cranky morning & nothing much was making her happy. So, I thought we'd try a little fun in the snow! At first, Emma was a little less than enthusiastic about the idea, even though I was constantly telling her how much fun we were having!

Her big poofy coat, though warm & snuggly, didn't really allow for much flexibility - think of Randy from The Christmas Story... She couldn't bend quite enough at the waist to stand up after falling down & just ended up doing this until I decided to help her:

She still didn't seem too happy, so I thought a good 'old snowman would put a smile on her face - and better than that, a snow-Mickey! I mean, what child can hold back a grin from Snow Mickey? Well, apparently, Emma.

In the end, Emma made it perfectly clear how she felt about playing in the snow that day:

Oh well, can't say I didn't try!

First, I love your Mickey Mouse snowman. Great work on that. And I have to say how I love your picture stories. I love that you have a picture of Emma practically face planting in the snow and another of her showing her distaste for your activity. Such great expressions. Love you Emmy!
I have to second Susie and say great job on the "Snow Mickey"! Also, this is the cutest entry ever. I love the ones that are showing kids not in their element. They're always so funny!
