Today, I am thankful for:

Christmas decorations!

Today, I got all of my Christmas decorations totally finished, including our majestic 5' tree! Yeah, we like to live BIG. :)

*and you think it looks small here? yeah, it's elevated about 8 inches on a box. :)  and yes, those are toy baskets barricading the tree; leaving it open to Adam's advances lasted about 20 minutes.*

After the kids were asleep, I swear I stood in the living room for about 20 minutes just looking at it all. It's so very pretty!!! It makes me happy from the inside all the way out. From now until those twinklin' lights go back in the box, I know I'll end every day in a good mood, no matter how bad the day was - simply because of my fabulously festive home.

And when that day comes to put everything away... I'll likely cry myself to sleep.
