Today I'm thankful for -
Home
Those places that are, or always will be, where our hearts belong.
We've known plenty of homes, and we miss them all - some more than others (*cough* BelmontSt. *cough*), and in different ways.
Even more importantly, I'm thankful for the PEOPLE that feel like home. Those around whom my soul takes a deep breath of familiar comfort. To me it's as tangible a feeling as coming home after a long day to the scent and warmth of your home, that moment when you kick off your shoes and stretch your feet in the carpet. Though I certainly love venturing out in the world, there are few things that can compare to that feeling of coming "home".
