... which Emma apparently did not find all that thrilling. :( 
So we thought perhaps it was time to take Emma for her first trip to... Build-A-Bear! We tried letting her pick an animal but she seemed to find them all equally desirable - so since she loves dogs & doesn't have a stuffed doggy, that's what we went with. First came the stuffing; Emma picked out a heart for her dog & gave it a nice big kiss!
Then we had to go give her doggie a nice "shower" to wash off any stray fluffies.
Then came Emma's favorite part of any day - pounding on a computer! We named her "Maggie" (after the dog next-door & one of Emma's favorite words to say), and printed out a birth certificate.
We thought we were in the clear on avoiding accessories (that's where things get pricey), but Emma had been pushing one of these little strollers around the store & I think she may have actually bit my nose off if I'd tried to carry her outta there without the stroller. So, ring that up too.
This had to have been one of the cutest moments she's had lately: walking her new doggy from the store, down the length of Gateway, to the food court - blissfully happy every moment!
She's since spend countless hours pushing Maggie on walks around the neighborhood, to the park, and through whatever stores we go to that she feels Maggie needs to see. She's become a very good mommy to her little doggy!
