So it's Week 6 on SYTYCD & everything's all mixed up - Jessica's gone, Comfort's back (crack---splat), peoples dancing with different peoples... Madness!
Joshua & Courtney -
#1 - Awesome number! Really cool & original, and other than Courtney's misstep on the allusion I thought she kept up just great with Joshua - they both popped it out!
#2 - So, I kinda have to say that Joshua slightly out-rumba-ed Courtney on this one. They both danced really FABULOUSLY! But something about him was just a little more, uh, sensually commited (PG-iest way to say it) than she was. :D He's adorable.
Kherington & Mark -
#1 - Well, that country two-step stepped in a big-ole cow pie, I think... That was a little rough. I'm actually quite astonished at how far off base they went... Let's see if they can pull it back with dance 2!
#2 - Oh they did, they did. I am definitely a little biased because I can't dislike ANYTHING when that song's playing behind it. Technically, they were so spot on & they gave a pretty great performance too! I disagreed with the judges a little bit - I really felt the love of the dance from both of them.
Twitch & Comfort -
#1 - I love it. Comfort finally gets a hip-hop partner, and they get a waltz. hehe So, I refuse to comment on her at this point; I'm not acknowledging her continued presence in the competition. (I reserve the right to be as bitter & biased as I please on my blog.) Twitch, great job!
#2 - K, I'll give her some consideration on this on. Yeah, it is pretty cool that these two great hip-hoppers got to join up & do their thing. It was AWESOME. Happy now, Comfort? You got your shining moment. Now go home. :P
Katie & Will -
#1 - Now THAT'S a good pairing! I think they make such a great new couple, a STRONG new partner for Will... and a rockin' dance! Two thumbs up!
#2 - First off: rock on, Archuleta! Awesome. Secondly: Couple to BEAT. Flawless, truly. That number belonged center stage at Lincoln Center, not on an amatuer dance contest.
Chelsea & Gev -
#1 - Huh. Well, I loved them & think they did it SO well, but I really didn't like the dance. The choreography didn't fit the music AT ALL, I couldn't get myself head wrapped around either part because of it. But kudos to them, they're delicious!
#2 - Hehe That dance just made me giggle & giggle. Of course Chelsea took first place - she was 100% professional - but I thought Gev did SOOO much better than some of the judges expressed. Cute little Gev, punching those jive kicks! hehe
And last thought of the night: for the solos, guys TOTALLY beat the girls. Every one of them. In every way imaginable. No contest. Step it up, ladies!
Do I even attempt to do predictions? I really don't know where I would begin. (Okay, we all know where I'd BEGIN - but I don't know where I'd continue from there...) I can't even remember if they keep doing bottom 3 or if it goes to bottom 2. Well, I'll do that then, here goes: bottom 2 for guys & girls will be Comfort, Mark, Gev, and Kherington. Argh, I don't know!
It's gettin' real, folks.
A long overdue update

My pick for going home tonight:
Comfort and Mark
I like Mark and I really liked his solo but he's kind of the lowest guy on the totem pole right now and somebody has to go. My next to go girl is probably Kherington. I don't know which of the boys I could stand to lose after Mark.
I love that you are into So You Think You Can Dance. I love that show!! I think Will is super sexy! It's great reading about how you are doing. I miss seeing ya across the street. Thanks for posting a memory of us together. I totally forgot about Bubble Bobble, that game rocked.
I remember going over to your house to watch old movies. We would eat licorice from the huge tub your mom would buy from Sam's Club.
I remember playing kickball in your backyard, pogo sticking, roller blading and pretending we were ice skaters in the Olympics.
I also remember you throwing me the coolest 13th birthday surprise party. I was so touched that you went to so much effort.
You were fun to grow up with Kristi. I love ya, and can't wait to see you in the future.
