Emma rampages through the S.L. Valley canyons!

So this definitely gets my award for most creative children's activity in Salt Lake - the mini-valley playground at Liberty Park! (Yes, I know, it's Liberty Park... but they've done a lot of clean up down there & it's now an excellent destination for summertime fun.) This is a semi-abstract mini-layout of the the canyons & rivers of the Salt Lake Valley. From City Creek Canyon, down to the Jordan River, it's got 'em all - complete with waterfalls, mini-ponds, and one big pond that all the rivers feed into. (the Great Salt Lake? I don't know enough about SL geography to know if that's what it represents...)

Anyway, it's so fun & interactive, and Emma had the grandest time walking down the rivers & then of course (being lil' miss "Bring It On" that she is) walking back up the rivers against the current. Wacko. She loved it!!! We also did a few of the little kiddie rides they have there, and I think she could've spent all day going round & round in the little planes. We'll have to head back down there soon!
