Today's post, starring... Hubby!

I've been wanting to do this forever! Emma may get the spotlight around here, but let's not forget where she came from. So here's my 20 questions (& answers) about Colby James Harmon:

1. Where did you meet?
   At the University of Utah, working on the "Innovation" student government election campaign.
   
   
2. How long did you date before you were married?
   Asking Kristen: 11 months. Asking Colby: 6 1/2 months.
   
   
3. How long have you been married?
   7 years in February
   
   
4. What does he do that surprises you?
   Well this one's tough; Colby's not the most unpredictable guy in the world... But I will say he always surprises me with the gifts he gives me.
   
   
5. What's your favorite feature about him?
   Smile. Hands down, no contest - his smile.
   
   
6. What's your favorite quality about him?
   I don't have to deal with those typical "man" things - watching 25 hours of sports a day, refusing to see movies where no one dies violently, dumping all laundry on the floor, refusing to talk in length about things... He's just not the typical guy! He loves a good romantic movie just as much as I do, he's far cleaner than I am, and he's usually the one who wants to talk for hours on end. Yeah, he's dreamy. :D
   
   
7. Does he have a nickname for you?
   Wifey
   
   
8. What's his favorite color?
   Blue or red - but mostly blue.
   
   
9. What's his favorite food?
   Overall & all things considered... I'd have to guess probably tacos.
   
   
10. What's his favorite sport?
    To play: frisbee. To watch: Sox playing baseball, or Utes playing football.
    
    
11. Who said "I love you" first?
    Me. I even got fancy & said it in Spanish! Thought it'd impress him enough to say it right back. It didn't. :(
    
    
12. When and where was your first kiss?
    July 27th 2001; all dressed up after having seen Phantom of the Opera, on the 24th floor of the Times Square Marriott, in a dark empty ballroom (we snuck in) with a wall of windows facing onto the Square.
    
    
13. What are your favorite things to do as a couple?
    Watch movies, play scrabble, and tickle Emma.
    
    
14. Do you have kids?
    One, that should really count as three.
    
    
15. What's a hidden talent that he has?
    Colby writes very good poetry - and yes, I've been the lucky recipient of many "love" poems. :) *swoon*
    
    Sidenote: I asked him for an answer on this & here's his reply: "My ability to push your buttons is second only to emma and utah drivers." (which, I will admit, is a little true...)
    
    
16. How old is he?
    Just turned 31
    
    
17. What's his favorite type of music?
    Aside from rap & really sugar-sweet pop - pretty much anything! But I'll list the major favorite artists: Garth Brooks (top fave), U2, Michael Jackson, Van Halen
    
    
18. What do you admire most about him?
    His testimony & the path he had to take in life to find it. And his sensitivity.
    
    
19. What's his favorite past time?
    Internet-ing! Keeping up on music, movies, news, politics, etc. - he could spend days on the internet! He's definitely the most well-informed person I know, and without him I would know very little about the world around me.
    
    
20. Do you think he's going to read this? Of course - he'd never pass up a chance to hear me say good things about him. :D He's a total sucker for praise, especially when it's coming from me who (admittedly) hands it out FAR too infrequently.
